Palau High School

During their visit to PHS, the Hydrous and the Heirs to Our Oceans worked together to deliver an inquiry-based activity to encourage scientific thinking and promote understanding for coral reefs. The Hydrous also highlighted their use of new technologies like reality capture, 3D printing, and virtual reality for ocean science and education. Students asked and answered questions, engaged in conversation with their peers, conducted experiments using 3d printed corals painted with thermochromic paint that turned white in warm water, and experienced 360 video. The session was filmed in 360 degrees for Hydrous educational projects.
