The d.School at Stanford brings together students and practitioners across disciplines to apply design thinking for real world impact, and has developed a special focus on the ocean. Our speaker, Sarah Stein Greenberg, has helped lead the d.school since 2010. She holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in History from Oberlin College, and her background includes developing new products and services in a number of emerging markets in Asia and Africa. In addition to co-teaching Design for Extreme Affordability, Sarah has co-taught the d.school’s foundational class Design Thinking Bootcamp and developed a class called Design Thinking for Public Policy Innovators. She is also a member of the Advisory Council for The Center for Behavior & the Environment.
Among other creative pursuits she spends her free time scuba diving and taking photographs underwater.
Ms. Greenberg will be introduced by Dr. Erika Woolsey, Co-Founder of the Hydrous and Ocean Design Fellow at the d.school
