World Oceans Week
For World Oceans Week June 2021, The Hydrous Virtual Dive Team led this first-of-its-kind shared, synchronized immersive reality experience with a global audience in real time.
This experience was an official UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development event and won a 2022 Webby Award Winner for Best Technical Achievement and was an Honoree for Public Service & Activism.
Live @ National Geographic
This first iteration of our shared, synchronized, immersive reality experiences brought audience members at National Geographic’s virtual reality theater under the waters of Palau as The Hydrous Chief Scientist Dr. Erika Woolsey guided them through the experience from stage.
